Consultation Process
Prior to the first appointment I will send you a questionnaire to fill in about your health, lifestyle and diet. This should be completed and returned to me prior to the initial consultation.
First consultation:
The first consultation that we have together will last approximately 1 hour and a half during which we will discuss any health issues you have, your medical history, any medication you are taking, your diet, lifestyle and other concerns you may have. I can then provide you with an explanation of your condition or symptoms from a nutritional and lifestyle perspective. Finally, I will then be able to recommend a nutritional programme which will include diet and lifestyle based recommendations, which directly address your condition and aiming to achieve your goals. This may include recommending vitamin and mineral supplements.
Follow-up consultation:
A follow-up consultation approx 45 mins will be needed as necessary after a few weeks, during which we will discuss your progress with further diet/lifestyle recommendations. My aim is to help you achieve your health goals, how many follow-up appointments you will need depends on your progress and your health issues/symptoms.
Please give 24 hours notice if you cannot keep your appointment.
PLEASE NOTE: Nutritional therapy in no way takes the place or replaces conventional medicine and you should continue with any medication or any medical treatment or advice you have already been prescribed by a GP or any other health care professional.
