About Me
I have had a passion for sports from an early age and been involved in a variety of sports ranging from sailing to cycling. With this interest in sport, I wondered what makes the body perform to its best of ability through nutrition and exercise. When I finished school I decided to study my BSc in Sports, Health, Exercise and Nutrition which I found fascinating as it covered such a vast area of knowledge. During this period I worked in gyms to put my knowledge into practice. With this hunger to learn more I decided to study for my Masters in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. After successfully completing my Masters, I later qualified as a personal trainer, sports massage therapist and nutritional therapist through Premier Training. This made me even more passionate about health, fitness and nutrition and how it can help people to achieve their health and fitness goals through simple changes to their lifestyles. I really enjoy helping and motivating people and seeing them achieve positive results.
I am still continuing to keep my qualifications updated by completing GP referral qualification. This enables me to train individuals with osteoporosis, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, asthma, arthritis and training for the elderly. Additionally, I am a BACR (British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation) phase IV instructor training people who have had heart complications. I will continue to develop my knowledge as I find what I am doing so fascinating and this will benefit clients with what I learn.
