Emily has had a passion for sport from an early age. This has driven her to learn how nutrition and exercise make the body perform to the peak of its ability. She first studied for a BSc in Sports, Health, Exercise and Nutrition. She then followed it with a Masters (MSc) in Exercise and Nutrition Sciences. Subsequently she qualified as a Nutritional Therapist, Personal Trainer and Sports Massage Therapist. Her knowledge is constantly updated with continuous professional development courses, including GP referral. This means she’s qualified to work with people with osteoporosis, diabetes, hypertension, obesity, asthma, arthritis – and the elderly. She has also qualified as a Phase 4 instructor with the British Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation, enabling her to give fitness training to heart patients. Emily is a consultant for BetterYou, the nutritional products website.
